And here there are: final typefaces (Google Fonts so you can use them on web), colors, logo and logotype, a working resume, and a headshot.
Aesthetics are important but concept is everything. To make something pretty, you must give it purpose. Nick believes in hard work, constantly learning, and smiling. A lot. He’s a digital designer with a strong background in image making, branding, and layout design with a constantly growing love for interaction design and UI/UX. Design is for people and it’s important not to forget that.
Nick was born in a bathroom in the farm fields of Illinois. He grew up listening to records with his Dad and reading comic books as often as he could. Maneuvering through his Midwest life, he earned his associate’s of applied sciences degree in Graphic Design at Lewis and Clark Community College in his hometown of Godfrey, Illinois. Soon after, he packed his bags and moved to the radiant Metropolis of Kansas City, Missouri. Nick is now finishing up his Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design at the Kansas City Art Institute, working at Springboard Creative in Mission, Kansas, and searching out as many internships as he can to continue to expand his experience and knowledge. He still loves music. And smiling.
