As we continue to push our Tender buttons books, I have begun to explore a cover concept as well as refined my presentation of the material. As stated in a previous post, I have refined my concept down to the simple (but sometimes complex) act of decoding the text. It is taking a larger, more complicated element and breaking it down into its individual pieces to get a closer understanding of the material. The presentation of each poem will be individual and distinct, some printed with black ink on black paper, some with a layer of transparencies that are removed from a base layer to separate the two pieces of  information. The titles will be high-res scans of the words which will reveal the half-tone dot pattern. This method further connects the titles to the concept in that you can see the individual elements that make up the whole letterform.
